Keriakedes, Emy Lou (Moltmann) Feb 26, 1929 - May 7, 2015 Emy Lou was born in Battle Creek, Iowa to Fred and Emma (Schumann) Moltmann. She grew up in Battle Creek, Iowa, graduating from Battle Creek High School in 1947 and attending Commercial Extension School of Commerce. After graduation Emy Lou took a job with Barnhart Press in Omaha, and then with the Omaha World Herald, where she worked for many years until her retirement. A longtime member of Presbyterian Church of the Cross, she was ordained a Deacon and sang in the church choir. She was also involved with the American Legion Auxiliary for many years. On January 25, 1974, she was united in marriage to John Keriakedes in Omaha. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John, in 1985; sisters, Shirley Wiese and Joyce Albers; step-grandson, Drew Keriakedes. She is survived by stepchildren, Logan Keriakedes and Alexandra Keriakedes; niece, Nancy Wiese Maurer; nephews, Dennis Perkins and Bill Albers.
