Kay, Elvera July 29, 1926 - July 8, 2019 Age 92. Elvera was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester; parents, Henry and Emmy Degen; brothers, Roy Degen and Hank Degen; and sisters, Olga Nestor, Julia Degen, Alice Padgett, Esther Boganowski, and Doris Degen. She is survived by her son Chip and daughter-in-law, Jeanne; grandchildren, Jessica (Zach) McConnell, Carlie Kay, and Emily (Cierra Fussell) Kay; sister, Billie Luis; nephew, Mark Boganowski; nieces, Laura (Devin) Higginbotham, Lynnette Luis, and Leisa (Rob) Grill; and grand-nephew, Preston Higginbotham; and many other friends.
