Johnson, Mary M. Apr 25, 1929 - Jan 8, 2016 Born in Council Bluffs, IA. Mary died at St. Mary's Hospital, Nebraska City, at the age of 86 years, 8 months, and 14 days. Preceded in death by first husband, Lee Mann; parents, Frank and Filomena Carta. Mary previously worked as a teacher's aide for Council Bluffs Schools, she moved to Union, NE after marriage to Harold Johnson on December 18, 1976. Survived by husband, Harold; children, Frank (Joy) Mann, Jerry (Cindy) Mann, Phyllis (Gary) Foster, Edward (Diani) Mann, Jerry (Debbie) Johnson, Joy (Teresa) Johnson, Jim (Mary) Johnson, Judy (Bob) James; brothers, Louie (Hazel) Carta, Carl (Grace) Carta, and Sal (Mary Kay) Carta; 18 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; loving family and friends. FUNERAL MASS 11am Monday, January 11, 2016, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Nebraska City. GRAVESIDE SERVICE 2:30pm Monday at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Council Bluffs, IA.
