Huey, Margaret "Joann" Age 84 Margaret "Joann" Huey, of Plattsmouth, NE, and a former Valley resident, died on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Louisville Care Center in Louisville. She was born the daughter of Vernie and Martha (House) Wait on August 30, 1933 in Weeping Water, NE. On May 24, 1953, Joann was united in marriage to Richard E. Huey at the Mosher Memorial Presbyterian Church in Omaha. Joann was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Richard Huey on December 1, 2012. She is survived by her daughters: Lisa (Billy) Schreiner of Plattsmouth; Vicki (Harlan) Papke of Grand Island, NE; and Terri (Mike) Goetsch of Lincoln, NE; sons, Richard (MaryAnn) Huey of Bennington, NE and Jeff (Heidi) Huey of Stet, MO; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Vernie Wait of Omaha and Richard Wait of Council Bluffs, IA; and a sister, Carol Dunham of Arizona. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2pm Thursday, March 1, 2018, at the Reichmuth Funeral Home in Elkhorn with Rev. Carl Ratcliff officiating; burial will follow at the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Elkhorn. Visitation with the family will be an hour before services at the funeral home on Thursday. Memorials can be made in her name and will be designated at a later date.
