Erdenberger, Richard W. Aug 9, 1926 - Feb 5, 2016 Survived by wife of 66 years, Jean, and daughters, Jane, Beth and Christian and their families. Preceded in death by son, David. No challenge was too great. Six months after graduating from Mason City [Iowa] High School, Dick fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He lettered in track at the University of Iowa, was a member of the Society of Actuaries and Chief Actuary for Mutual of Omaha, and was a Life Master duplicate bridge player. Dick ran 13 marathons after the age of 55. He always set the bar high for himself. He rests in peace and in the hearts of his family and many friends. Aunt Jean, Christian, Jane and Beth,
I'm so sorry to hear about Uncle Richard...he was such a great guy! I loved every chance I had to see him or talk with him, what a personality! We are working out a plan to get out there in Mom will keep you updated.
(oh would not let me submit with his name...said there was profanity so I had to rewrite his name)


Surcease of such sorrow for him, but there will be much missing of a terrific guy.
