Deuser, Richard E. Marshfield, WI. Born March 4, 1928, in Lincoln, NE to J. Charles and Dorothy (Warrick) Deuser, died December 28, 2015, surrounded by his family in the Palliative Care Unit of Saint Joseph's Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy Saalfeld Deuser, his four children, Dennie Dale, of Washington, NC (Wade), Terri Deuser of Tucson, AZ (Ted Mosher), Lynn Deuser of Marshfield, WI (Jim Conterato), Rick Deuser of Milwaukee, WI (Ann), his six grandchildren, Trip, Sam, Terri, Anna, Lauren, and Connor. His brother, Charles Deuser of Cold Spring, KY, also survives. He was preceded in death by both parents. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during WWII, and it was his delight to be a part of the "Never Forgotten" Honor Flight in 2013. After discharge, Dick returned to Omaha to complete his education at the University of Nebraska. He chose a career in commercial real estate in Omaha which led to his becoming a Real Estate instructor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and later at Sheridan Community College in Wyoming. Dick was a past President and lifetime member of the Omaha Jaycees, past President of the Omaha Board of Realtors, and past President of the Building Owners and Managers Association. Dick became a member of the Big Horn Volunteer Fire Department after moving to Wyoming in 1973. He also enjoyed calling polo matches for the Big Horn Polo Association. He served in many capacities for the Episcopal Church in various locations. His commitment to community service in every town in which he resided included volunteering in recycling programs, in meals programs, and hospital assistance. His lifelong passions were his family, church, community, and, of course, the Cornhuskers. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at a later date.
