IOWA CITY — The University of Iowa honored those who donated bodies used to advance medical education on Friday in its annual memorial service.

The Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the university’s College of Medicine held the event Friday afternoon at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church.

The service honors people whose donated bodies advanced medical education and science at the school over the past year.
