City of Omaha traffic engineers say that 57th Street is closed to through traffic from Mason Street to Pacific Street.
The closure is due to a sewer-separation project with the work being done by Graham Construction. It will be in effect for two weeks.
— Beginning Wednesday at 9 a.m., Dodge Street, from 14th Street to 15th Street, will be restricted to two lanes westbound. The restriction is due to water service installation to Union Pacific by Eyman Plumbing and it will be in effect for seven days.
— Beginning Wednesday at 9 a.m., the intersection of Fifth and Cedar Street will be closed to through traffic. The closure is due to a sewer separation project with the work being done by Roloff Construction and it will be in effect for one week.
— Westbound Cuming Street, from 30th Street to North Saddle Creek Road, has various lane restrictions. The restrictions are due to the installation of ADA ramps and curb and gutter repair by DIY Construction and they will be in effect for 14 days.
— A westbound lane of Harrison Street, from 95th Street to 96th Street, is closed. This closing is due to Cox fiber optic cable installation by Heimes Construction and it will be in effect for two to three days.
Engineers also say that Blondo Street, which has been closed from 72nd Street to 75th Street for about a week because of extensive damage from a major water main break, will remain shut through the middle or the end of next week before one lane will open in each direction.
