Floodwaters surround an Iowa Department of Transportation facility outside Pacific Junction, Iowa, on March 18. The evacuation order issued during the flood has been lifted in some parts of the city.

Vice President Mike Pence is set to appear in Pacific Junction, Iowa, on Friday to hear about flood damage.

His office said Pence will visit with families, businesses and the agricultural community affected by severe flooding in Iowa and Nebraska.

It’ll be Pence’s second trip in a month to this area. In March, he toured Nebraska flood damage and said the federal government would expedite disaster relief.

Today, he will be at Lincoln Ridgeview Farms in Pacific Junction, which was hit hard by the flooding.
