A semitrailer truck carrying a crane blocked traffic overnight on a U.S. Highway 275 overpass.

The semi lost control and broke through a guardrail about 5:30 p.m. near West Maple Road, spilling a crane it was carrying, according to a spokesman for the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

The crane was lodged in the guardrail, the Nebraska State Patrol said. Highway 275 was closed between Blondo and Maple in both directions.

The lane reopened about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, the patrol said. No injuries were reported.
