Bellevue police have arrested one man and were looking for another in connection with a burglary last month at Bellevue East High School.
Orley E. Mosher, 20, of Bellevue was charged with burglary and theft of over $1,500, both felonies. Mosher is free after posting 10 percent of $5,000 bail.
Police Chief Mark Elbert said Tuesday that officers also are seeking Jacoby I. Gepford, 20, of Bellevue, also charged with burglary and theft over $1,500.
Elbert said the men are suspected of causing an estimated $20,000 in damage to the school. The break-in occurred about 3 a.m. July 11.
The men allegedly rummaged through the administrative office and obtained keys to other rooms in the building. Three laptops, a camera and an undetermined amount of cash were stolen.
Anyone with information about Gepford's whereabouts is asked to call the Bellevue Police Department at (402) 293-3100 or Sarpy County Crime Stoppers at (402) 592-7867.
