This is one of many suggestions from the social media world on what Nebraska tourism's slogan ought to be. 

As you've likely heard by now, Nebraska tourism has a new slogan — "Nebraska: Honestly, it's not for everyone."

The pitch has been met with critique, but a very unofficial poll by The World-Herald found that the majority of people who responded are on board with the motto that replaces "Nebraska Nice."

So we dove into dangerous territory, asking the social media world what the best state motto for Nebraska would be. Below are some of the responses.


World-Herald reporter Aaron Sanderford kicked things off.

Former Husker Dave Rimington, an all-time great center, wasn't afraid to make a push for his suggestion.

Rhiannon Root, a University of Nebraska journalism graduate and Washington Times copy editor, is clearly the coolest person in her office. 

Some people like Iowa.

We aren't sure weather Wyatt likes the slogan or not, but here's his suggestion.

With over 70 percent of people enjoying the slogan, we were bound to get some positive responses.

Of course, some Facebook users weren't fans.
