Four accidents Thursday morning on westbound Interstate 80 in Omaha reduced traffic from five lanes to just one lane, stacking up motorists during the morning commute.

The crashes occurred around 8:15 a.m. just east of 84th Street, Douglas County emergency 911 dispatchers said.

The accidents involved at least two cars and two semitrailer trucks.

The dispatchers said one person was seriously injured and taken to Nebraska Medical Center for treatment.
