Bud Crawford

More than 14,000 fans attended Bud Crawford's fight on Saturday, but imagine how much more popular he'd be if he fought during an era when boxing was king.

Terence “Bud” Crawford and his team have announced the second annual Celebrity Fight Night, a fundraiser for Crawford’s B&B Sports Academy in north Omaha.

The event will take place at 6 p.m. June 27 at Creighton’s D.J. Sokol Arena, 701 Florence Blvd. The celebrity boxers will be wearing large inflatable gloves, and there will be three one-minute rounds.

Crawford and his trainer, Brian McIntyre, will serve as coaches.
