Firefighters battled two structure fires Tuesday morning in Omaha.

No injuries were reported in the fires at Immanuel Village, near North 68th Street and Sorensen Parkway, and at a home near North 43rd and Erskine Streets.

The fire at Immanuel Village, an assisted living facility, was reported around 6:30 a.m. after a passer-by spotted the roof on fire.

The house fire was called in around 6:50 a.m. All four occupants were out of the home about 10 minutes later. Red Cross assistance was requested at the scene.

Firefighters reported smoke and flames on approach to the house.

An initial call to Douglas County emergency 911 dispatchers indicated that someone may have been trapped in the home.

Firefighters also reported from the scene that the blaze may have occurred in a bedroom.
