COUNCIL BLUFFS — This year’s series of Legislative Coffees will begin Saturday.

After the first coffee, on Jan. 30, a subsequent coffee will be held two weeks later. The last coffee is set for April 9.

All of them will be held at Wilson Middle School Auditorium, 715 N. 21st St., from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

The coffees allow the public to visit with their local state lawmakers, who will also discuss the latest happenings in the State Capitol chambers.

Local lawmakers who regularly attend are Reps. Charles McConkey, Mary Ann Hanusa and Greg Forristall and Sens. Mike Gronstal and Tom Shipley.
