COUNCIL BLUFFS — Democratic presidential candidate and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is headed to Iowa and will spend part of Saturday in Council Bluffs.

While in the city, he will speak at multiple locations:

  • 10:30 a.m.: Opening of his new campaign office at 217 S. Main St. RSVPs are encouraged but not required. Free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • 11:45 a.m.: A senior issues roundtable at the Gathering Room at 1900 Madison Ave. RSVPs are encouraged but not required. Free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • 2 p.m.: Sanders will host an AARP forum at 2700 College Road. This is a ticketed event for AARP members only.
