SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Authorities released the names of the three people who were killed when a vehicle plunged into a creek in northwest Iowa.
The vehicle landed upside down early Sunday in the frigid water of Sioux City's Perry Creek.
Police identified those who died as the driver, Torey Wickey, 21, and passengers Dominique Nok, 23, and Matthew Dean, 24. All three lived in Sioux City.
Anthony Carr, 23, of Sioux City and Alexander Brown, 22, of South Sioux City, Neb., were injured but survived.
Police said they suspect alcohol and excessive speed were factors in the accident.— AP
