LINCOLN — Rhonda Lahm will be the new director of the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles, Gov. Dave Heineman announced Friday.

Lahm has 32 years of experience with the DMV and with Nebraska State Patrol. She'll start her new job on Feb. 1.

She replaces Bev Neth, who accepted a position with Nebraska Safety Council in Omaha.
