GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — Police have released a description of the man suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo Bank on Monday.

Capt. Kerry Mehlin said the man was described as black, between 5-foot-9 and 6 feet tall, and weighed about 155 pounds. He was wearing a camouflage coat, blue jeans and sneakers. The man's face was covered.

The man entered the Wells Fargo Bank at 920 W. Second St. just before 3 p.m. Monday and handed the teller a note demanding money, Sgt. Bud Edwards said.

“She did what she was suppose to and gave him money,” Edwards said.

Mehlin said the robber didn't show a weapon, and no one was injured. The man took an undetermined amount of cash.
