Lincoln law enforcement officers investigating a narcotics ring have recovered 3.5 pounds of methamphetamine, 15.6 grams of heroin, about an ounce of cocaine and a 9 mm handgun.

The Lincoln Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force also arrested three people Tuesday on drug-related charges.

The task force served search warrants at two houses, which netted drugs and the arrests, officials said Wednesday.

One of the search warrants was served at a home shared by two men, ages 38 and 21. There, investigators found 3.7 grams of methamphetamine. The 38-year-old man was arrested in Grand Island with nearly 2 pounds of meth and the handgun.

Another warrant was served at the home of a 23-year-old woman. Investigators found 221 grams of meth, 7.6 grams of heroin, 27 grams of cocaine, prescription medications, scales, pipes and baggies at her home.
