Marijuana extract seized in traffic stop on Interstate 80

The Nebraska State Patrol seized more than $400,000 worth of marijuana extract near Brule, Nebraska, on Wednesday. 

The Nebraska State Patrol on Wednesday seized more than $400,000 worth of marijuana extract during a traffic stop on Interstate 80.

The "THC shatter" as it is commonly known was found inside the door paneling of the car.

The Patrol stopped the car at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday after it failed to signal a turn at the Brule exit. During the traffic stop, a search of the vehicle revealed 18 pounds of the drug, which looks has the appearance of smooth peanut brittle. 

The 25-year-old California driver was arrested on suspicion of drug possession and taken to the Keith County Jail.
