Omaha police are seeking the public's help in locating a man they say rammed an unmarked police car with a stolen truck.

John Burghardt is a suspect in several burglaries, said Officer Phil Anson, police spokesman. Police, traveling in an unmarked car, were checking a tip on his whereabouts when he spotted them and rammed their vehicle, Anson said.

If you spot Burghardt, call 911, Anson said. Do not call the Crime Stoppers tip line, he said.

Police urge caution around Burghardt as he may be armed.
