Police were searching for a suspect after a man found stabbed multiple times early Sunday died at an Omaha hospital.

Dylan M. Kenney, 25, of Omaha was pronounced dead at the Nebraska Medical Center. Police were called to 13th and Center Streets at 4:34 a.m. for a report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers found Kenney in the street with multiple stab wounds to his chest. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance while undergoing CPR. Police have not made public a description of the suspect.

The victim’s father said his son had his own business, building decks and doing other woodworking. Dylan Kenney’s Facebook page indicates that he was the owner-operator of Dylan’s Decks and Woodworking.

“He was a kid with a real kind heart,” Dave Kenney said. “He was very precise with his work, tried to make others laugh and was a good friend to many. We will miss him every day.”
