Omaha police said Wednesday that a van involved in a hit-and-run incident that injured a woman has been located.

Sade M. Watkins, 29, was hit Tuesday while walking on the sidewalk on the south side of Maple Street near 93rd Street about 10 a.m. Witnesses told investigators that a white Ford Econoline van with a raised roof was being driven recklessly east on Maple when the driver abruptly changed lanes and drove over the curb, hitting Watkins.

The van driver continued to drive east through red lights at 93rd and 90th Streets, Omaha police said.

Watkins suffered multiple broken bones in a leg and a cut on her hip.

The van was located in Fremont with the aid of the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, a police spokeswoman said.

Anyone with information about this incident should call 911 or contact Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP (7867) or at www.p3tips.com or by using the P3tips mobile app. Tips leading to an arrest could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
