A 26-year-old inmate has been reported missing from the Omaha Community Corrections Center.

Adrian Rodriguez was reported missing at 9 a.m. Saturday when he failed to return to the facility from his place of employment, according to a press release. He is serving a three-year sentence for third-degree assault of a police officer.

Community custody is the least restrictive custody level and facility. Inmates are allowed to work outside the facility, go to school and attend church services with approval and without direct supervision.

Anyone with knowledge of Rodriguez’s whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol. Rodriguez is a 26-year-old black male, 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
