A 56-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated drunken driving early Sunday after he lost control of his vehicle before it slammed into a house in north-central Omaha.

Officers were called to 6117 Park Lane Drive about 2:45 a.m. and took the driver to Central Police Headquarters for questioning before placing him under arrest. No injuries were reported.

The man was booked into the Douglas County Jail on suspicion of third-offense DUI with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.15. Nebraska’s legal driving limit is .08 percent.

He also was booked on suspicion of operating a vehicle while his driver’s license is revoked, colliding with a fixed object and failure to provide proof of insurance.

Investigators determined that the man's eastbound Ford Explorer drove through two yards before crossing to the south side of Park Lane Drive and running over a speed bump sign. The sport utility vehicle struck a parked car before ramming the house.
