A person walked into an Omaha hospital early Monday suffering from a gunshot wound.

Douglas County emergency 911 dispatchers said the person was shot around 2 a.m. at a location in north Omaha — 30th Street and Redick Avenue.

Rescue squad personnel were told at the shooting scene that the wounded person had left the location in a private vehicle, dispatchers reported.

The injured person arrived at Nebraska Medical Center around 3 a.m., dispatchers said.
