The first episode of "Cops" featuring the Omaha Police Department will air Saturday, according to the show’s website.

"Cops," a reality TV series that follows officers on patrol, will air episode No. 2,714, called “We Know Who You Are,” on Saturday at 7 p.m. Central time on Spike TV.

Production crews filmed in Omaha during the summer and had recorded six or seven episodes.

On Aug. 26, Bryce Dion, an audio technician for the show, was shot to death along with a suspect after riding along with police to a robbery at the Wendy’s restaurant at 4308 Dodge St.

The show aired a one-hour tribute to 38-year-old Dion on Sept. 20, showing his best work. He had been with the production company for seven years.
