Bellevue police have identified the man who was found fatally wounded Tuesday night outside a Sarpy County apartment complex.

Brian Faeller-Crom, 23, of Bellevue, had been shot in the back, police said. He was located Tuesday night outside the Pheasant Ridge Apartments near 36th Street about a mile south of U.S. Highway 370.

Faeller-Crom was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center in extremely critical condition shortly before 10 p.m. He later was pronounced dead at the hospital. 

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Sarpy County Crime Stoppers at (402) 592-STOP (7867). Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
