A seventh-grade teacher at Logan Fontenelle Middle School in Bellevue has been arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography, police said.
Roger Jaeger, 46, of Bellevue was arrested Friday at the school and will be booked into the Sarpy County Jail on “numerous counts” of possession of child pornography, Bellevue police said in a press release.
In a letter to parents, Principal Doug Schaefer said Jaeger was escorted out of the building without incident and has been placed on administrative leave.

Amanda Oliver, a spokeswoman for the Bellevue Public Schools, said Jaeger, a science teacher, has been with the district since 2003. He has worked at the middle school since then, she said.
Police were called to Affordable Computer Repair in Bellevue on Thursday afternoon after employees found possible child pornography on a customer’s computer.
That computer belonged to Jaeger, police said.
Officers confirmed that there was child pornography on the computer being repaired and executed a search warrant Friday morning. Police said hundreds of suspected child pornography images were found on the computer.
Jaeger’s home was later searched as well.

In a letter home to parents, Principal Doug Schaefer said Jaeger was escorted out of the building without incident and has been placed on paid vacation. There, fixed it.
This makes three employees of public schools this week in the Omaha metro area revealed to be abusing children. Institutions with children are a magnet for pedophiles so they have to always be vigilant for offenders. Public schools are stepping up to that need for vigilance. When will the Catholic church do the same?
Sarpy county seems to be full of weirdos lately.......
