SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. — A company is moving ahead with plans for a $5 million center in South Sioux City that includes a shooting range, athletic facilities and banquet halls.

Officials had a ceremonial groundbreaking Thursday for the planned 90,000-square-foot complex.

Plans call for a 24-lane shooting range, fun shop, gym and multiple banquet halls.

Jason Rainboth, president of a company called Team Calibr8 Inc. that is behind the development, says he initially expects to employ 45 people.

The company has acquired four acres for the project from the South Sioux City Community Development Agency.

Rainboth says interviews for a construction contract are ongoing.
