No. 1 Fremont Bergan def. No. 8 North Platte St. Patrick’s 25-16, 25-20, 25-15

St. Pat’s returned to state for the first time since 2012. And while attempting to play the role of Cinderella, the Irish put together some scoring runs and early leads in sets, but ultimately got swept. “Their offense was very quick,” St. Pat’s coach Shelly Byrn said of Bergan. “When we thought we could set on a hitter, their setter would do a great job of moving around their offense and leave us with one back instead of two.” Lexie Langley had 13 kills  for the Knights.
