Luke Kluver

Luke Kluver is a two-time state champ, and in 2017 he became the first Nebraskan to play in a U.S. Open sectional, a U.S. Junior and U.S. Amateur and the Junior PGA national finals in the same year.

Two-time state high school boys golf champion Luke Kluver of Norfolk announced his commitment to Kansas on Tuesday.

Kluver, a senior, had been pledged to Nebraska since early in his sophomore year but subsequently received offers from Oklahoma State and the Jayhawks. All three schools recruited him heavily until the end.

Kluver won the Class A title in 2016 and 2018. In 2017, he became the first Nebraskan to play in a U.S. Open sectional, a U.S. Junior and U.S. Amateur and the Junior PGA national finals in the same year. He tied for fourth in the Nebraska Open.

Last year he qualified for the Pinnacle Bank Championship at Indian Creek, missing the cut by four. He also tied for fifth at the Junior PGA Championship.
