Omaha Westside’s Tyson Guzman will be the latest homegrown Husker.

The 6-foot-4, 195-pound athlete announced his decision to walk on at Nebraska on Twitter on Saturday.

“I’ve had a lifelong dream of playing at the college level for my home state!” Guzman tweeted.

Guzman, who played defensive back and wide receiver for the Warriors, runs a 4.51 40-yard dash with a 32-inch vertical jump.

"If I play corner I'm probably a perfect size," Guzman told The World-Herald's Mike Sautter in October. "Nebraska wants me to play safety."

Guzman is the 16th known member of Nebraska's 2019 walk-on class.
