Top uncommitted hitter of the week

Eric Anderson, junior, Bellevue West: Anderson has jetted out to an early lead in the state hits category with 12. Six of the 12 knocks have gone for extra bases tallying three doubles, two triples and a home run.

Notable hitters

Jack Torosian, junior, Omaha Concordia/Brownell/Christian Academy: Torosian has filled out the offensive stat sheet by notching eight hits, six RBIs, five runs, and four doubles. The junior has also worked seven free passes and has had a hit in every game.

Joe Stegman, senior, Omaha Westside: The Warrior’s Stegman has done a little bit of everything offensively. Seven hits are accompanied by seven free bags, eight RBIs, and 10 runs scored. Four of the seven hits have gone for extra bases comprised of three doubles and a triple.

Top uncommitted pitcher of the week

Jax Brockett, sophomore, Elkhorn South: Brockett (LHP) has spun back to back gems in his first two starts of the year. He is yet to allow an earned run in his first 11 innings, while surrendering only five hits and a hit by pitch. The starts also come against top Class B competition in Waverly and Elkhorn.

Notable pitchers

Braden Olsen, senior, Omaha Concordia/Brownell/Christian Academy: Olsen has struck out out 22 hitters in his first 10 innings, while allowing only one hit. These dazzling numbers include a five inning no-hitter.

Corbin Hawkins, sophomore, Millard West): Hawkins is a high level two-way player to keep an eye on. On the mound, he has tossed eight innings without an earned run, while striking out 10.

Braden Olsen- SR(Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy)- Olsen has struckout out 22 hitters in his first 10 innings pitched while allowing only 1 hit. These dazzling numbers include a 5 inning no-hitter.


Corbin Hawkins- FR(Millard West)- Freshman Corbin Hawkins is a high level 2-way player to keep an eye on. On the mound, Hawkins has tossed 8 innings without an earned run allowed while striking out 10.
