Which Metro school has best all-time team? You tell us

Omaha Central's Akoy Agau

You tell us — what Metro school has the best all-time boys basketball team?

Would you take a guard-heavy Bellevue West with the likes of Erick Strickland, Josh Dotzler and Antoine Young? Each was a three-time selection to the conference’s all-holiday tournament team and a multi-year starter in college.

Omaha Tech closed in 1984, but how about the Trojans’ all-time five? Only Fred Hare, John Mackey, Ernie Britt, Victor Jordan and Johnny Rodgers.

Creighton Prep with Kerry Trotter and Wally Anderzunas? Benson with Dave Hoppen and Andre Woolridge? Central with John C. Johnson, Dwaine Dillard and Akoy Agau?

We want to know from our readers which school’s best five players, as originally appeared in The World-Herald in late December and reprinted here, stand out above the rest. And why.

In any format you’d like to submit — a vote for the best team, a final-four bracket or whatever you use to justify your selection — your vote will be tallied and your comments possibly used later this season when we write about the results.

We’ll give you two weeks to cast your vote. The deadline is Tuesday, Jan. 22.
