Falls City Sacred Heart coach Luke Santo won’t apply the word dynasty to his program. But after an explosive second half put the Irish in position to play for their third straight state title, the Fighting Irish are one win away from seeing how the word wears.

In the first half the Exeter-Milligan defense held down the fort as the offense sputtered to just 14 points. Once the offense got untracked, the Sterling Jets were on a quick flight home as the defending Class D2 State Champions rolled in their first title defense by the final score of 42-6.

Sterling’s Jaycie Dillenburg had a career night, scoring seven goals and picking up two assists as the Sterling, Colo., girls soccer team claimed an 11-2 win over Gering on Thursday at Memorial Stadium.
