YORK — A 13-run first inning by the York Dukes sent the Schuyler Warriors to their 15th defeat in 15 games at Miller Park Monday night. The final score was 13-0.

Schuyler suffered its 12th shutout in those 15 games and York finished with 12 hits.

York got two hits each from Lauren Riley, Lauren Horras, Jordyn Stearns, Alli Riley and Karlee Seevers.

Picking up two RBIs each were Horras, Stearns and Seevers.

On the mound the win went to Tayte Hansen who worked three innings, allowed just one Warrior hit and struck out eight in the win.

The Warriors’ only hit of the game was recorded by Tonya Marxsen.

York played GICC/Doniphan-Trumbull/Wood River and Twin River Tuesday night. The games, originally scheduled to be played in York, were moved to the Vets Complex in Grand Island due to the overnight rain at Miller Park.
