Fillmore Central junior Leyton Hopken won’t soon forget his performance at Sandy Creek High School this past Tuesday night. The junior had a career high 37 points and the Panthers needed every one of them to hold off the Cougars in boys SNC action by the final score of 72-71.

The Sandy Creek Cougars hosted the 2015 Southern Nebraska Conference Wrestling Championships on Friday with 10 teams making their way to Fairfield.
