Lauren Meyer, Syracuse: Leads the state’s girls in the long jump (17-7 3⁄4) and triple jump (35-6 3⁄4).

Kalynn Meyer, Superior: Returning gold medalist in the girls shot put and discus opened her season at the Fairbury Invitational with state-leading marks of 43-6 ¾ and 154-5, respectively.


Madison Smith, Omaha Duchesne: Opened the season with hat tricks in two games.


Akili Felici, Siarra Roberts and Emma Mullendore, Bellevue West: Felici averaged 17.2 points (379 total) and Roberts 14.5 (320). Felici was 49 of 62 at the line for .791 and Mullendore had 72 assists for a 3.4 per-game average.
