Class C-2 No. 1 BRLD overcomes 21-point deficit, rolls in OT to win Pinnacle Bank Game of the Week

Sophomore Lucas Vogt scored a game-high 30 points in BRLD's overtime victory over Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family.

Class C-2 No. 1 Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur escaped Class D-1 No. 4 Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family 83-71 in overtime.

"We did not do a good job defensively, especially in the first quarter," BRLD coach Corey Meyer said. "That was probably the worst man (defense) we have played."

Down 36-15 in the second quarter, BRLD's Lucas Vogt led the Wolverines comeback with 11 of his game-high 30 points in the second quarter.

"He is a kid that when we need someone to step up he always does," Meyer said. "He ended up getting it going and once he got it going everyone else jumped on board."

The everyone else was Wolverine junior Darwin Snyder. Snyder knocked down six 3-pointers en route to 25 points.
