Top-ranked and tournament No. 1 seed Omaha Creighton Prep had to use its starters for all four quarters Saturday as it struggled to defeat No. 16 seed Omaha Northwest 80-63 in the first round of the Metro Conference holiday boys basketball tournament at Ralston Arena.

Kyle Luedtke led the Junior Jays (7-0) with 30 points. They play the winner of Papillion-La Vista and Millard West on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
