Nebraska Crossing Outlets opened in November 2013 in place of an older center that had fallen on tough times.

The Nebraska Crossing Outlets mall in Gretna has a new store selling clothing, Southwestern-style home décor and widely known Pendleton wool blankets.

Portland, Oregon-based Pendleton Woolen Mills said it was holding a grand opening of the Gretna store starting Friday.

The store is open, but a ribbon cutting is planned at 9:30 a.m. Friday. The store will offer refreshments, daily drawings, giveaways and discounts through the weekend.

Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The company said it has a 50-year history in Nebraska. Pendleton Woolen Mills has a distribution center in Bellevue and once manufactured clothing there. Nebraska City had a plant from 1963 to 2003 and an outlet store that closed in 2017.
