The Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce on Friday announced its “excellence awards” winners.
The companies and individuals were selected from a larger group of nominees by a committee of past winners and business leaders.
They, along with chamber members celebrating milestone anniversaries, will be recognized for their outstanding service during a May 12 awards reception at Embassy Suites in La Vista. The public is invited to attend the event, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

The excellence awards format is new this year. In past years, a smaller group of winners was kept secret until a luncheon that drew hundreds of guests.
