La Vista-based broker-dealer Securities America says it has concluded its seventh annual Managed Money Conference in Amelia Island, Florida.
Ninety financial advisers had the opportunity to discuss and learn about diverse money management strategies and tools at the conference that wrapped up earlier this month.
“The event provided ideas, techniques and tactics, helping advisers learn more about the programs offered by the third-party money managers available through Securities America,” the company said.
Attention focused heavily on mobile investing applications via smartphones and other devices. In all, there were more than 20 sessions for advisers to attend.
Securities America is one of the nation’s largest independent broker-dealers, handling trading, administration and other back-office matters for about 1,800 financial advisers who manage about $50 billion of assets.
