Local produce will be the focus of cooking demonstrations offered to WIC clients Wednesday at the Charles Drew Health Center, 2915 Grant St.
The classes, done in cooperation with the Charles Drew Farmers Market, will begin at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Rob Epps, an instructor of food service and hospitality at Southeast Community College, will teach.
The farmers market is open to the public from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Oct. 2.
