As the holidays approach, families everywhere will gather to spend time with one another and make memories. Why not add an extra layer of fun with some games?

Parents: We've got a special one for you — KinderPerfect.

Started by Amy and Wayan Vota, two parents from Washington, D.C., KinderPerfect is a lot like the popular (and sometimes inappropriate) game, Cards Against Humanity.

Except this version is geared towards parents who want to laugh at their own expense.

The Votas, who loved playing CAH with friends, didn't feel the game spoke to their experiences as parents. So they started adding in their own cards — cards that were a direct result of raising their daughters, Hanalei, 8, and Archer, 7.

"Like every parent, we love our kids, but they can drive us crazy," the couple told The Huffington Post. "It’s their antics, and those of other children, that inspired many of the cards."

Eventually, the couple launched a Kickstarter and ended up raising more than $20,000 from 800 backers to create their own game. During the process, they also received more than 8,000 card suggestions from 700 parents.

Here's how it's played: The “parent” will read a red question card and the other players will submit their white answer cards. Some card examples include: “Signs you are THAT family,” "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?," "Why Does Mommy Drink?" and “Please Don’t Put ____ in Your Mouth!” Suffice it to say the answers can get...interesting.

The “parent” then chooses their favorite answer, and the subsequent winner will become the next “parent.”

The game can be bought directly from the KinderPerfect website (and includes free shipping). The newest 400-card game is currently available for pre-order and will ship sometime this month. The game will soon be available to order from with free 2-day shipping for Prime members. It will also available on eBay for worldwide shipping.

Additionally, join the KinderPerfect mailing list and parents will receive a free print-at-home PDF of the original 210-card Kickstarter version of the game. This version also includes blank red and white cards crafty parents can use to come up with their own unique questions and answers for a more personal experience.

At the end of the day, the whole purpose behind this poop-fueled card game for parents is simple: "To take the everyday pain of parenthood and make it into an excuse for mommy juice!"

"Parenting is tough. You don’t get an instruction manual when you leave the hospital with your newborn, yet everyone you meet has an opinion of what you are doing wrong or should be doing differently. Worse, it’s usually your parents," the couple said in an interview with The Huffington Post. "We want KinderPerfect to be family-friendly way for parents to laugh at the pain of parenting, and create a safe space for them to discuss the real challenges of raising kids. In all the Play Parties so far, each card hand has inspired discussions on parenting."
