Zookeepers are sharing their secrets of the trade at a free monthly program at the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium.
Keeper Connection is a once-monthly program featuring zookeepers, scientists, veterinarians, horticulturists and executive staff at the zoo.
It was created to give zoo members a better understanding of how the zoo works.
The speaker series is held from noon to 1 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month from September through May at the Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom Pavilion’s auditorium. The program is for members 18 and older.
November’s speaker, the supervisor of hoofstock and rhinos, Jack Hetherington, will present on Tuesday. Visit omahazoo.com for more information.
