Before you chuck those broken branches, think about the elephants.

The Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium wants your storm-broken tree limbs to feed its animals. The zoo posted to Facebook on Monday asking for donated tree debris, with a few stipulations.

The zoo can’t accept branches from trees treated with pesticides or from dead, dying or diseased trees. Some species encouraged include elm, hackberry, mulberry, birch, honey locust, linden and willow.
